This site uses a gray marble background which can be found at Gotomy.com (see the link on our samples page) for both "book cover" and "picture pages" backgrounds. The "icon" to the left is a composite animated GIF file. Choosing such a narrow "icon" leaves a lot of room for text information while adding color and interest to the page.
To keep this page simple, we turned off the picture window and used a link at the bottom to get to the portfolio.
